    EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A new scam is out there, this time asking people to donate for college scholarships. A woman alerted GRCC officials she was approached by a man claiming to be collecting donations for the school’s scholarship program.     KENTWOOD, Mich. — A woman was hit while attempting to cross 44th Street at Breton Road just after 7 p.m. Friday. Grand Rapids Police Lieutenant Cathy Williams says the woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver involved is cooperating with the investigation and police do not believe alcohol or drugs to be a factor.     PENN TOWNSHIP. Mich. — Two Indiana residents were injured when their car rolled. Christopher Lee, 40, was driving on Decatur Road when the vehicle left the pavement just north of Shurte Street northeast of Cassopolis. The car hit a curb and flipped over, landing on its top. Lee and his 32 year-old passenger, Alicia Egber, were taken to Lakeland hospital in Niles for their injuries.
