I grew up in West Michigan, attending Belding High School. I attended Central Michigan University with a major in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts. I worked for a year at WSYM in Lansing and joined FOX 17 in August of 2006 with the addition of the FOX 17 morning news.
I currently live in Greenville with my wife Kara and sons Carter and Easton. I enjoy covering sports in West Michigan, especially at the high school level.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and playing golf.

    SACRAMENTO, Cal — The Sacramento Kings and Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to a trade that will send Deyonta Davis from Memphis to Sacramento.   • Kids learn unique discipline at Junior Judo National Championships

    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — The Junior Judo National Championships took place at the Devos Place in Grand Rapids on July 8th and 9th. Several Olympians were on hand for the event, including 1964 Judo bronze medal winner James Bregman who was promoted to 10th degree black belt at the championships. Also in attendance were 1980 Olympian Jesse Goldsetin and 1988 Olympian Steve Cohen. Judo teaches many important lessons, including respect for your opponent.
