I walked in the door at FOX 17 in October of 2013. At that time I was working behind the camera, shooting stories and breaking news on a daily basis. Since then I have had the chance to do a little bit of everything in the newsroom.

I spent 3 years running our news desk before moving to an on-air reporting position. At the desk I would take phone calls, monitor police/fire scanner traffic and dispatch our news crews.

Prior to my time at FOX 17, I worked at GRTV (Grand Rapids’ Public Access TV) directing and producing community-based content. Before stepping into the broadcasting world, I spent several years working as an in-home caregiver to children living with autism.

I currently live my beautiful fiance, our cat and our two birds!

Please reach out if you have an interesting story to tell or a suspicious situation you would like us to look into.
