    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — In just three days, The Salvation Army of Kent County successfully reached its goal in donations during the ‘Double Your Donation’ campaign. The three-day campaign ran from December 22 through Christmas Eve, raising more than $130,000 dollars.  It also received a $40,000 matching gift from private donors, local leaders, and other sources.     Paris (CNN)–At least 12 people were killed and four were seriously wounded in Wednesday’s attack at the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris, French President Francois Hollande told reporters. “This is a terrorist attack, there is no doubt about this,” he said.     Man drowns while sinking Christmas trees in lake with friend

    PORTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Cass County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a drowning that happened Monday night. According to the Cass County Sheriff, it happened on Shaveshead Lake at around 11 p.m. Monday night.     ST. JOSEPH, Mich. — A woman who accidentally shot herself in the eye has died as a result of her injuries.
