    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Nick Van Doeselaar, who suffered severe brain injuries and a broken neck in a 2015 car crash has passed away.     CPL holder accidentally shoots himself in the leg at Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park

    ALTO, Mich– A man was hospitalized Sunday afternoon, after police say he accidentally shot himself in the leg. The Kent County Sheriff’s Office reports a current Concealed Pistol License (CPL) holder accidentally discharged a pistol at the Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park. No other injuries or victims were reported. Officials say the man was taken to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital for treatment. His condition is currently unknown.     NEWFOUNDLAND, Canada- Loved ones have said a special goodbye to Theresa Lockhart, following her death in May 2017. The Rest in Heaven Theresa Joan Lockhart Facebook page recently posted photos of Theresa’s sister, Joan, spreading her ashes in Newfoundland, Canada. According to the post, Theresa’s ashes were spread on July 18, 2018. Theresa Lockhart, who was a Spanish teacher at Schoolcraft Community Schools, was first reported missing in May 2017.     MARENGO TOWNSHIP, Mich– A woman in Calhoun County was hospitalized Thursday evening following a crash that left her trapped in her vehicle. Police say shortly after 5 p.m., a 37-year-old from Albion began suffering from a previously diagnosed medial condition while traveling on Michigan Avenue.     RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich– The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious incident that was reported Tuesday evening. Around 8:30 p.m., they say a juvenile on a bicycle was approached by a man in the 5600 block of Meadowstone Drive.     GRAND RAPIDS, Mich– Ten aspiring entrepreneurs received a $20,000 boost on Tuesday. Start Garden held its inaugural 100 Ideas Demo Day at 20 Monroe Live, which was the culmination of its 100 Ideas initiative to help local entrepreneurs get off the ground and connect with the community.     ROOSEVELT PARK, Mich– Investigators are looking for a man who robbed a credit union in Muskegon County Monday afternoon. Crews were dispatched to the SB Community Federal Credit Union off West Broadway Avenue just before 4 p.m. The branch is located about a block away from Roosevelt Park City Hall.
