    GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — It looks like the weather will cooperate for a partial eclipse of the sun late Thursday afternoon. The eclipse begins at around 5:37pm and peaks around 6:47pm.     GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. –We’re about halfway through October, and so far the only noteworthy weather has been the above normal rainfall. As of Wednesday evening, the rainfall total in Grand Rapids is 4.25″, which is a whopping 2.65″ above normal. There as been measurable rain on nine of the 15 days so far this month.     GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.– Showers and thunderstorms moved through West Michigan Monday, producing heavy rain and several reports of hail.
