GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Early Monday Evening, the Grand Rapids Board of Education voted to offer the superintendent position at Grand Rapids Public Schools to Dr. Leadriane Roby. If Dr. Roby accepts the offer, she and the board will start engaging in contract negotiations.
Dr. Roby currentlly serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Richfield Public Schools in Richfield, MN, a position she has held since 2014.
Dr. Roby received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Arts in Education Administration from Saint Mary’s of Minnesota, a K-12 Educational administrative license from Saint Mary’s of Minnesota, and a Ph.D. in K-12 Educational Leadership, Research, and Technology from Western Michigan University.
