How West Michigan is celebrating Easter in quarantine

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Easter celebrations in quarantine are far from the normal. But folks around West Michigan still found ways to partake in the holiday.

Marleigh Owens is five and a half. The Easter Bunny still found her house in Mattawan, despite corona virus.

Pinwheels line the street of one Grand Rapids neighborhood, guiding the way for the walks we've all been taking.

One Grand Rapids church held service at a distance. People parked in their cars to hear the sermon, broadcast loud for all to hear.

For Marleigh Owen's and her family, today is a reminder of the most important thing: family.

"We're blessed to have family," Justin Owens said.
