When it comes to our mental health, Forest View Hospital can provide mental health treatment in a variety of ways.
Outpatient treatment is for individuals who might be struggling with their mental health but are able to function in their daily life. Partial hospitalization and inpatient hospitalization are for individuals whose mental health is interfering with their day to day life and/or their ability to function.
Studies show that patients who are able to utilize outpatient programs, such as the Partial Hospitalization Program, after an inpatient hospitalization are more likely to succeed with aftercare treatment plans and therefore require fewer future hospitalizations.
Forest View Hospital provides three levels of care for our community: inpatient acute treatment for adolescents and adults, partial hospitalization for adolescents and adults, and medication management services.
You don’t have to receive an inpatient level of care to be a patient in our partial hospitalization program. Forest View Hospital’s partial hospitalization program is available 5 days a week from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. for individuals who are experiencing acute mental health needs but don’t require 24 hour care.
Forest View’s trained Assessment and Referral staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help you find the right level of care to meet your needs. Call 1-800-949-8439 to speak to someone on their team.
