This fall brings many of us unknown plans for our school, as well as our work life.
Lifestyle and parenting expert, Sherri French is here today with some home workspace organization solutions that will make your workspace more organized, efficient, and fun for hours of work.
Paint Chip Calendar
Being organized starts with knowing what you have for each day. Create your own wall calendar with paint chips and a picture frame so you kids can log everything that is due or upcoming at school.
Desktop Organization
On your desk, make sure everything has its place, including the small things. Use mason jars, empty cereal boxes, and silicone cupcake holders to create a perfect space. Use a ‘landing pad’ where you put things that are unfinished on so that everything has a place. Use a cutting board, mat, or tray.
Keep your cords under control
Use binder clips to help keep your cords in check on the side of your desk and label them with colored tape at the power bar to know what cord goes to what.
Fidget spinner
Cut a round off of a pool noodle and keep it on your desk so it’s there when you are losing focus.
