1. Splashpads are a fun way for your family to cool off and a new one is coming to Garfield Park in Grand Rapids.

This is all thanks to a new $300,000 grant. The city commission accepted it from the DNR as well as $140,000 in Parks Millage Funds.

The city will also be adding new sidewalks, and improvements to parking and restrooms to meet the American Disability Act standards.

The project is expected to be complete by August of 2022.

2. Ford Motor Company is teaming up with real estate developer Bedrock and global technology supplier Bosch to help make parking easier.

They're creating a demo of an automated valet parking garage in Detroit. Here's how it works, a driver will leave the car in a designated area and use a smartphone app to send the car into an automated parking maneuver.

The app will also be used when the driver wants the vehicle returned to them at the designated pick-up area.

The project is running for tenants of the Bedrock building, and private demonstrations through the end of September.

3. The brown vests and the matching skirts are gone! The Girl Scouts are updating their look.

The organization released its new apparel collection Tuesday. Three students from the Fashion Institute of Technology came up with the new wardrobe.

The designer worked to combine the classic Girl Scout uniform with a style that allows more individuality.

The new uniform includes a new vest and sash, as well as a variety of crew-neck t-shirts, pocketed spandex leggings, a soft knit skater dress, and a light-washed denim jacket.

The outfits come in a variety of sizes and prices range from $10 to $49.

4. Have a four-legged pal in your life? Now you can reward them with a cold one thanks to Busch Beer.

The beverage giant is launching Busch Dog Brew, a canine-friendly "beer" for dogs that is also raising money for pups in need of good homes.

Busch will be donating $1 to Best Friends Animal Society for every case of Dog Brew purchased up to $50,000.

The healthy brew's ingredients include bone-in pork butt, whole corn, celery, basil, mint, turmeric, and ginger.

Busch Dog Brew is available for purchase in 4-packs online while supplies last for $9.99.
