Currently about half of the kids in foster care in Michigan end up reunifying with their biological parents. June is Reunification Month, and the West Michigan Partnership for Children is doing everything they can to bring even more families back together, especially during the circumstances COVID-19 has brought among families.
WMPC celebrates the reunification of children in foster care in Kent County with their biological families, as well as the accomplishments of families who have overcome challenges to safely and successfully reunify.
Their ultimate goal is to inspire other parents that it's possible to resolve issues that led to their separation and reunification with their children.
