Country singer Matt Williams start in music came from tragedy. During his third tour in Afghanistan he lost two of his closest friends, and was severely injured himself, when an IED exploded. He received a Purple Heart medal for his service and returned home only to lose his father to a heart attack. It was at this lowest point when Williams leaned on his faith and his love of music to get him through.
Now with two full length albums among other EPs and singles, Williams is starting to attract attention from major music labels with songs like "Postcard Memories." Hear his story and listen to him perform that single on our West Michigan Soundstage. You can learn more about Matt and his story at www.mattwilliamsofficial.com.
