Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has taken to Twitter to ask members of the public to stop threatening her staff.
She said in her tweet that her staff is getting harassing phone calls and they have been asked to "shove sharpies in uncomfortable places."
"They are kind, hardworking public servants just doing their job," Nessel tweeted.
Dear members of the public: Please stop making harassing & threatening calls to my staff. They are kind, hardworking public servants just doing their job. Asking them to shove sharpies in uncomfortable places is never appropriate & is a sad commentary on the state of our nation.
