New Grand Rapids riot charge issued

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — One more person has been charged in connection to rioting in downtown Grand Rapids.

Audrea Nicole Allen, 26, is being charged with one count of riot, a 10-year felony, and one count of malicious destruction of a building.

Kent County Prosecuting Attorney Christopher Becker announced the charges Wednesday.

Information about when she will be in court was not available.

21 people now face charges in connection to the riots at the end of May.
