GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — DeVos Place will serve as a Kent County-wide COVID-19 vaccination center starting Monday, a Kent County Health Department spokesperson confirmed.

The health department is partnering with Spectrum Health, Mercy Health and other Vaccinate West Michigan participants to provide COVID-19 vaccines efficiently to the public.

Watch the news conference:

Vaccines will be by appointment only; walk-ins cannot be accepted.

Officials chose DeVos Place because of its convenient location and large size.

Parking fees near the center will be waived initially.

Because of constraints on COVID-19 vaccine supplies, only 7,200 doses have been allocated for the DeVos Place clinic so far.

It will not be limited to only residents of Kent County, officials said.

Officials reiterated the need for more vaccine supply.
