7,615 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Michigan

LANSING, Mich. — The number of positive cases of the coronavirus in Michigan has increased to 7,615.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) reported the latest numbers of cases in the coronavirus outbreak this afternoon.

There were 6,498 statewide cases yesterday afternoon.

There are 270 positive cases in West Michigan, up from 242 yesterday afternoon.

The state says there have been 259 coronavirus deaths in Michigan. It reported 184 yesterday.
