PORTAGE, Mich. — Ramona Park Beach in Portage has reopened after the lifeguards who exhibited symptoms of COVID-19 tested negative for the virus, according to a news release.
The beach had been closed out of caution since Thursday, when three lifeguards showed symptoms.
All hard surfaces continue to be sanitized daily at the park, and rental boats, paddles and life jackets are sanitized before and after every rental, officials said.
The entrance booth, concession stand, restrooms and changing rooms get sanitized throughout the day.
