GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A young girl in West Michigan is getting inspired to pay it forward, thanks to a popular chef.
Harper Shumaker is raising money to help frontline workers. She posted a video to Facebook to boost her effort. The Kenowa Hills school district also shared the video.
Shumaker says Chef Jenna from Amore motivated her to do this fundraiser.
She started by going through her change jar, but realied she'd need more money to make a bigger impact.
All of the money raised through Shumaker's campaign will go to feed workers at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
