WATERVLIET, Mich. — Watervliet South Elementary collected more than 600 donated boxes of cereal, according to Watervliet Public Schools.
In celebration of this achievement, and to teach students about chain reactions, all of the donated cereal boxes were lined up down the hall and knocked down like dominoes.
A teacher at the school confirmed that 665 boxes of cereal were donated to local food pantries and churches, who said the food will go towards helping local families for weeks.
