Spectrum accepting donations of medical supplies

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Spectrum Health is opening 14 sites to drop off medical supplies starting at noon on Tuesday.

Spectrum will be accepting donations of:

  • N95 masks
  • Isolation masks
  • Masks with a face shield or visor
  • Handmade or sewn reusable masks
  • Face shields
  • Goggles and safety glasses
  • Bouffant caps
  • Extended protection gloves
  • Isolation gowns
  • Bleach wipes
  • Swabs
  • Pocket-sized sanitizer
  • Thermometers

Traveling to a drop-off location doesn't violate Michigan's stay-at-home order. However, to reduce exposure, donors are asked to place items in bins outside while maintaining a distance of six feet from each other.

Drop-off locations will be located at:

  • 650 Linden St., Suite 1 in Big Rapids
  • 80 68th St. in Cutlerville
  • 230 W Oak St. in Fremont
  • 3152 Port Sheldon St., Suite C in Hudsonville
  • 15100 Whittaker Way in Grand Haven
  • 2750 E Beltline Ave. in Grand Rapids
  • 4100 Lake Dr. SE in Grand Rapids
  • 1202 W Oak St. in Greenville
  • 1108 W State St. in Hastings
  • 588 E Lakewood Boulevard in Holland
  • 2776 S State Rd. in Ionia
  • 922 Lawndale St. in Ludington
  • 2009 Holton Rd. in North Muskegon
  • 8501 Meadow Creek Dr. in Rockford

All locations will accept donations from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays except the Lake Drive site, which will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
