NILES, Mich. — A 52-year-old Niles man was arrested in connection to an armed bank robbery, a news release said Thursday.
It happened at the TCF Bank located at 407 E. Main in Niles.
The man, whose name police did not provide, left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
He was found close to the bank through cooperation between citizens, the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department and the Niles Police Department.
Evidence of the robbery was collected during the arrest.
The man is expected to be arraigned at the 5th District Court on Friday on armed robbery charges.
