LOGAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Thursday morning stolen vehicle incident may be related to an armed robbery that occurred Friday morning in Northern Muskegon County, according to the Mason County Sheriff’s Office.
Someone in Logan Township told police about 9:20 a.m. Thursday that his vehicle was stolen by a man who showed up at his house who may have been under the influence or having mental health issues, a news release said.
The vehicle was discovered that night in Huron County, where police believe the same man took another vehicle during a carjacking.
Those two incidents are believed to be related and Mason County police continue to investigate.
They’re also investigating whether the thefts are related to the Muskegon County armed robbery.
