MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Three people were arrested after a traffic stop Thursday revealed an illegally concealed gun, suspected meth and a stolen car, Michigan State Police said.
Troopers from the Mount Pleasant post conducted the stop about 10:30 p.m. on a vehicle moving fast on US 127 near Broomfield Road in Isabella County, Union Township.
Police found out the vehicle was stolen and had the driver and two passengers step out.
MSP found the gun and meth while searching them.
The driver, a 44-year-old Manton man, was arrested for illegally possessing a weapon.
A 34-year-old Lake City woman and a 42-year-old Jackson woman were both arrested for possession of meth.
All three were lodged in the Isabella County Jail.
MSP continues to investigate the incident and the stolen vehicle.
