WYOMING, Mich. — Police in Wyoming are investigating after an early morning shooting.
The Wyoming Department of Public Safety says officers were called to the area of Abbie Street SE and S Division Avenue for reports of a shooting.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a 41-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
He was taken to the hospital to be treated for what police believe are non-life-threatening injuries.
A 34-year-old Wyoming man was arrested at the scene. Police say the suspect and victim knew each other.
According to police, other individuals involved in the incident have been identified and interviewed by detectives.
Police say there is no ongoing threat to the public.
