Logan Grimes, one ofsix people from Michigan arrested in the wake of Wednesday's riot at the U.S. Capitol, is out of police custody according to his family.
The 29-year-old is accused of carrying an unlicensed gun and ammo on January 6. Metro D.C. Police arrested Grimes about two blocks north of the White House, more than 2 miles away from the U.S. Capitol Building.
Police declared a riot after demonstrators broke into the capitol while Congress worked to confirm the results of the Electoral College ballots from the 50 states. Lawmakers returned late Wednesday night to complete the process.
