Secretary Jocelyn Benson held a news conference Wednesday to address updates and concerns surrounding the counting process for the 2020 election.

Benson says all of Michigan’s votes are on track to be counted sooner than Friday, adding that news will continue to be delivered throughout the day on Wednesday. She says a little over 100,000 votes are left to be counted in Michigan, most of which are absentee ballots.

“We’re focused on counting every single ballot in the state of Michigan,” Benson said. She adds that totals from Grand Rapids may be determined later on Wednesday.
