CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Colleen Berry from Plymouth-Canton High School is being honored for her Excellence in Education.
Berry will receive a $1,500 check from the Michigan Lottery and Plymouth-Canton High School receives a $500 grant.
“I started realizing how important it is to get these kids fed for breakfast and lunch,” Berry said. “Sometimes it’s the only meal that they get.”
