DELTON, Mich. — A Delton teacher is being honored with this week’s Excellence in Education award.
Jenny Wandell from Delton Kellogg Elementary says there’s nothing better than being a teacher and seeing her students’ smiles.
“Seeing the children and their faces when they accomplished something and then the relationships with them and with the parents – you have those forever,” Wandell said.
She receives a $1,500 check from the Michigan Lottery and her class at Delton Kellogg Elementary receives a $500 grant.
