IRONWOOD, Mich. — Susan Clausen from Ironwood Area School District is being recognized for her Excellence in Education.
Her nominator says she’s done an incredible job navigating not only the material, but also making it comfortable and easy for students.
“I’m happy to see I’m making a difference,” Clausen said. “That’s awesome – that's why we do what we do! You know, learning how to read or learning how to do math or whatever it is that they’re learning, it’s just incredible to see that light go on.”
Susan receives a $1,500 check from the Michigan Lottery and her class at Ironwood schools receives a $500 grant.
