The Great Lakes Justice Center has filed an emergency appeal after a request for an audit of election results and injunction request to stop certification were denied.
Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Timothy Kenny's issued the original opinion to dismiss the lawsuit last week.

The group's complaint alleges 'significant fraud' in election vote-counting procedures.
The GLJC filed the suit alleging that Wane County election official allowed illegal, unlawful, and fraudulent processing of votes in last Tuesday's election.
Voters are entitled to the enforcement of their constitutional rights, to know that their elections are conducted in a fair and legal manner, and to ensure every legal vote is properly counted. We ask the Court of Appeals to enjoin the certification of this fraudulent election and order a results-oriented audit of the vote in Wayne County,” said David A. Kallman, Senior Counsel with the GLJC.
In his ruling last week, Wayne Circuit Court Chief Judge Kenny said the claims were "incorrect and not credible."
The City of Detroit's lead attorney also weighed in on Judge Kenny's opinion stating; "This is the third time a court has had to dismiss Trump supporters' completely fabricated claims of voting problems in Detroit. Once again, the court record showed conclusively the Detroit city clerk ran a fair and proper election."
