20-year-old man arrested after Macomb Co. shooting

MACOMB TWP., Mich. — The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that occurred Friday morning that led to the arrest of a 20-year-old man.

The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. in a residence in the 46000 block of Gabriell Dr. in Macomb Twp.

During a domestic situation, the 20-year-old man pointed a gun at an occupant of the residence, and upon leaving, fired a round into the residence.

A woman in the residence suffered minor injuries following this incident.

The suspect was eventually located in Detroit this morning, at the 17000 block of Patton St. by the Macomb County Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement team.

The suspect was arrested for Arrest with Intent to Murder, Felonious Assault and Domestic Violence Assault. He has been lodged at the Macomb County Jail.
