WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was injured during a crash Sunday evening in Cass County.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate the crash about 6:35 p.m. near the intersection of Glenwood Road and Morton Street in Wayne Township, a news release said Monday.
Police say a 40-year-old Dowagiac resident, Jennifer Tidwell, was traveling southbound on Glenwood Road when she drove off the roadway and hit a tree.
Tidwell was transported to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital for her injuries.
Seat belts were used and airbags were deployed.
Alcohol and drugs don’t appear to be factors in the crash.
