SHEPHERD, Mich. — A four-year-old boy has died after falling through an icy pond in Shepherd on Saturday.
Michigan State Police say they assisted emergency responders and the boy’s father in an attempt to save his life.
After a search conducted by the Shepherd Fire Department and the Isabella County Sheriff’s Dive Team, the boy was found and transported to Mid-Michigan Hospital in Alma where he was later pronounced dead.
