BENTON HARBOR, Mich. — Authorities executed search warrants for drugs today at two residences in Benton Harbor.
The first occurred in the area near Pearl Street and Weld Street, according to the Southwest Enforcement Team today.
The suspect, John Parson, 58, was home when the search was made. During the search, SWET said a package of crack cocaine and a pistol were recovered. Parson was lodged in Berrien County jail for allegedly possessing with intent to deliver and maintaining a drug house and alleged felony firearm possession.
The second search took place in the area of Lavette Avenue and East May Street, where crack cocaine and other drug-related items were recovered. The suspect, Miriam Parson, 57, was lodged at Berrien County jail for allegedly possessing with intent to deliver and maintaining a drug house.
