REED CITY, Mich. — A 36-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested after Michigan State Police troopers found a “large quantity” of suspected meth and suspected heroin during a traffic stop.
It happened about 8 a.m. on US 131 near US 10 in Richmond Township, a news release said Tuesday.
The driver initially gave MSP a false name.
His real identity was later confirmed, revealing he had a suspended license and warrants for his arrest.
A roadside investigation and subsequent vehicle search led to MSP finding the drugs.
The man was lodged at the Osceola County Jail and is awaiting arraignment.
MSP continues to investigate.
