GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A 40-year-old man is recovering after being shot during what Grand Rapids police say was an armed robbery.
It happened just after 12:30 Tuesday morning near Division and Burton on Grand Rapids' Southeast side.
Police say the victims were sitting in their car when two suspects approached them and robbed them at gunpoint.
One of the suspect's ended up shooting the 40-year-old man in the stomach but he is expected to survive.
