GRAND RAPIDS. MICH. — Grand Rapids police arrested a suspect in the shooting death of Tony Lamarr Stewart from January this year.
The Twenty-nine year old was shot in front of Miss Tracy's Liquor store in early 2020 and died at the hospital soon after. Silent observer offered at $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
Detectives with GRPD arrested 26-year-old Javonte Davon Robinson, charging him with open murder, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, felony firearms charges, as well as a Fourth Offense Notice.
GRPD tells FOX 17 will be considered inoccent until proven guilty, but faces up to life in prison.
