GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Berger Chevrolet is offering free vehicle disinfectant treatments as a thank you to frontline workers.

All healthcare workers and first responders can get the treatment and, according to Berger Chevrolet's service manager, Steve Johnson, it will only take about two minutes.

"It's pretty simple, they pull up, we can actually do it right outside, we open the doors, we'll apply it and it takes about 2, 2.5 minutes to do, and we just take down their name and number and email address and we like to send them a thank you note and we get them on their way."

Johnson says the treatment is safe for your family and the environment.

"It`s very safe for kids, you can actually put it on fruit, that kind of thing, so it`s not something that`s toxic or anything that harms the environment, so we want to make sure everybody`s safe, that`s the main thing."

Johnson says frontline workers do not need to make an appointment if they come during regular business hours.

For non-frontline workers that may be interested in the treatment, it typically costs $29.95, or is free with any paid service.
