GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Calvin University maintained its No. 3 ranking in the Midwest Regional Universities Category from U.S. News & World Report, and its undergraduate engineering program is now considered the best in West Michigan.
The university also retained its No. 5 ranking for Best Undergraduate Teaching and moved up to No. 13 in the Best Value Schools category, a news release said Monday.
Its undergraduate engineering program cracked the top 50, ranking No. 46, which is 22 places higher than a year ago.
Rankings are based on factors such as first-year retention rates, graduation rates and the strength of the faculty.
