GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A heads up to residents of the city of Grand Rapids about an error involving they envelopes used for your property tax bills.
The city says your winter property tax bills have been mailed out but they were mailed in envelopes used for water bills.
The return address says City of Grand Rapids Water System.
Once you open the envelope, you’ll find your property tax bill and return envelope for payment.
The city apologizes for the error and any inconvenience it may cause you.
The city is now working with the printing company to make sure this doesn't happen again.
