GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — To celebrate 70 years in business, Eastern Floral is launching a new campaign to send flower arrangements to all involved with education.
Called the 'Spreading Joy' campaign, the family-owned florist company seeks to deliver flowers as a way of showing appreciation to teachers, administrators, and other education professionals.
The initiative comes after Eastern Floral began delivering flowers to nurses and healthcare workers over the summer, amid the pandemic.
Now the company is inviting the community to get involved. To nominate a teacher, administrator, or other school professional, you can fill out the form here. Nominations to gift floral arrangements are open now through Tuesday, September 22. Twenty randomly selected nominees will receive flowers starting September 24.
Bing Goei, President at Eastern Floral, joined Fox 17 live to discuss the community initiative further.
