GRAND RAPIDS — Michigan State Police is investigating after at least one person died in a crash on US-131 Tuesday morning.
The person who died has been identified as a 15-year-old boy from Grand Rapids who was a passenger.
The deceased victim has been identified as a15-year-old male from Grand Rapids. A 15-year-old Grand Rapids female remains hospitalized. The investigation continues, anyone with information in reference to this crash is asked to contact the MSP Grand Rapids Post at 616-866-4411.

The driver of the car has been identified as a 15-year-old Grand Rapids girl, who remains hospitalized following the crash.
Michigan State Police reported two people were killed, but later said one person has died and another was hospitalized in critical condition.
Police say a 2020 F-150 was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
M-DOT reported EB I96 at NB US-131 was blocked due to a crash at Exit 77-A.
Police say poor road conditions and heavy rain were likely factors in the crash.
MDOT says the roadway reopened around 7:30 a.m.
