GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Rapid will require customers to wear face coverings on all public transportation services starting Monday, according to a news release.

It’s in response to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s executive order cracking down on wearing masks in public. Starting Monday, masks must be worn indoors and in crowded outdoor spaces. Some exceptions apply.

The Rapid encourages customers to continue practicing physical distancing, hand washing, sanitizing and following all other coronavirus-related recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control.
