GRAND RAPIDS — GRCC says the need for financial aid increased dramatically last year and they want to make sure students are not missing out on opportunities to make schooling more affordable by increasing ways to help students filling out the FAFSA form.
“The FAFSA application is unquestionably the key to accessing scholarships and financial aid programs that can reduce or even eliminate college costs,” said Dr. Tina Hoxie, GRCC associate provost and dean of Student Affairs. “GRCC is focused on helping students complete their FAFSA. We don’t want anyone to miss out on a life-changing education.”
The school says the number of submitted FAFSA applications increased by 44% for the 2021-2022 school year.
