GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids police arrested three people for weapons Thursday evening.
Officers responded about 6 p.m. to the 200 block of Stewart Street on a report of armed individuals at a home, a news release said Friday.
The caller also told police that multiple people had arrived and were trying to get inside.
GRPD confronted the individuals and the latter tried to flee.
All of them were secured without incident.
Two were found to be armed with handguns and a third was found to have dropped a gun as officers made contact.
Two 20-year-old men and one 16-year-old male were arrested and three firearms were found in total.
One of the guns was found to have been stolen.
No one was injured.
Grand Rapids police continue to investigate.
