GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police responded to a barricaded suspect in Grand Rapids Wednesday afternoon.
The Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD) says the incident happened near Caulfield Avenue and B Street, east of Cesar Chavez Avenue.
We're told GRPD received reports of multiple shots being fired, after which the suspect barricaded themself in side a nearby home in the aforementioned area.
The suspect exited the home on his own following two hours of crisis negotiations and was subsequently taken into police custody.

No injuries were reported, and the public is not believed to be in any danger.
The incident remains under investigation.
