GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — Spectrum Health welcomed its first baby of 2020 shortly after midnight.
Little Kendra Rose Ivey arrived at 12:19 a.m., weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces. Her parents, Natisha and Brian tell Spectrum's HealthBeat their new daughter is simply perfect.
Natisha had expected to give birth on New Year's Eve and was induced around 7:30 a.m. that day, but didn't start pushing until much later.
Kendra will have many other girls to help show her the ropes. She has three older sisters: Maddison who's 14 months old, Jade who's 17 and Serina who is 18.
Kendra's father, Brian is a professional bowler and hopes his little girl will share in his love of the sport.
