GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Symphony has unveiled its list of upcoming shows for the 2020-21 Grand Rapids Pops season.
The six-concert series opens September 18-19 with a new show.
Among the list of upcoming shows includes a special one-night show featuring Leslie Odom Jr., who starred in the original Broadway production of ‘Hamilton’. Other shows include a staged version of ‘South Pacific’ (March 5-6, 2021) and the return of ‘Cirque de Noel’ (December 2020).
This will be the last season for you to check out the final two films in the Harry Potter Concert Series. (January 23-24, 2021).
Music of ‘Star Trek’ will be added this season along with live music from other films like ‘The Polar Express’ (November 6-8), ‘The Princess Bride’, ‘Coco’ (October 10, 2020).
Season tickets are on sale now for the 2020-21 season and single tickets go on sale May 11.
The symphony will also celebrate its 20th anniversary in February of 2021.
