GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police have arrested nine Muskegon residents on various federal charges relating to drug trafficking, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Michigan.

Those arrested have been identified as Zachary John Kennedy (31), Brent Wilkerson (28), Delando Johnson (28), Carl Johnson (42), Courtney Harris (31), Daris Jefferson (32), Alezay Coleman (23) and Malik Jones-Smith (25), according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

We’re told the arrests were part of an investigation conducted by the Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force that started back in 2019, and that an estimated 35 Michigan agents took part in the arrests.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office also says Corey Andre Chandler (29) was arrested. Chandler reportedly was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury for possession and conspiracy to distribute meth along with Darrell Jonathon Martin II (37). We’re told they could spend life behind bars if convicted.

Authorities say they are still looking for Martin. If you know where he may be located, you’re asked to call the U.S. Marshals Service at 616-456-2438.
